LAMDA GROUP ZOOM LESSONS

 

We currently have our next Lamda Examination session booked for Sunday the 8th of November. If your child would like to work towards this examination then we have put together two courses, Level 1 and Level 2. The students can take exams in Acting, Verse and Prose or Devised Drama.

 

The group Lamda sessions and prices are listed below. We have split these sessions into Level 1 and Level 2. If you are unsure which Level your child should be taking then just drop us a line!

 

You can book the lessons in blocks of 5 and we will run them through the summer. The first block will begin Thursday 18th June.

 

 

LEVEL 1 INTRODUCTORY – GRADE 1

 

5 sessions commencing Thursday 18th June  4pm – 5pm

Depending on how many students sign up, this session may also be held on a Saturday.

 

LEVEL 2 – GRADE 2 AND ABOVE

 

5 sessions commencing Saturday 18th June  6pm – 7.30pm –  Depending on how many students sign up, this session may also be on a Saturday 2pm – 3.30pm.

 

 

Alternatively you may book private, one to one session which Emma will conduct via Skype or Zoom. Just let us know for more details. If your child wishes to take a Musical Theatre exam then this can only be done on a one to one basis.

 

Lamda isn’t just a great way to boost confidence and develop a student’s Performance technique but for higher level examinations, the students can also acquire UCAS points which they combine with their school results. We have included some information below.

 

 

UCAS POINTS

 

 

The following Examinations are available for UCAS Points, for Grade 6, 7 and 8 only:

Recently the UCAS point system for university has changed. Wheras before, students could only submit points from one Examination discipline, now, the students will be able to gain and submit points for more than one from different subject. For example, a student could gain 14 points for a Merit in The Speaking Verse and Prose Grade 7 (Communication) and 30 points for a Distinction in Acting, Grade 8 (Performance).
