LAMDA Examinations have a longstanding reputation for excellence across the globe. They are designed to equip candidates, whatever their age or aspirations, with a range of skills that will serve them throughout life. Here at Stage Door, students have the option to take an examination in various performance disciplines which include Acting, The speaking of Verse and Prose, Musical Theatre, Devised Performance and Public Speaking.

We aim to build our student’s confidence in a safe and engaging environment. Lamda sessions enable them to have fun and develop their creativity.

Preparation for an examination will typically include:

• Unlocking the imagination through creative-thinking
• Developing communication skills
• Refining technical skills and artistry
• Working together as a team to achieve a goal
• Build self-confidence and self-esteem through performance

The range of Lamda Examination options available supports progression and allows the candidate to extend personal and vocational skills whilst reaching their own individual potential.
Stage Door Theatre School is a certified LAMDA Examination Centre and we have an excellent rate of success. We offer both group lessons and one to one training. All students have the opportunity to enter an examination in the Autumn, Spring or Summer Term.
